SYSTEM ENGINEER – UX DESIGNER

HUMAN FACTORS – Usability Designer - This role leads UX design efforts for new and existing web based products including *SciFinder and **STN with the goal of creating the best user experience possible within project and technical constraints. They will work with analysts, testers, and developers on an agile team to understand user needs and then design a user experience that meets those needs. Deliverables include personas, wireframes, sketches, story boards and detailed user interaction specifications. The candidate must be detail oriented, self-motivated and able to work well independently and with a large team.

 Required Skills:

• 5+ years of User Experience design for web based applications
• Degree in Human Factors, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Proven skills in interaction design, user-centered design, persona development, and concept modeling
• Demonstrated results showing creativity and innovation.
• Excellent collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience on an agile team is beneficial
