Speech Recognition Scientist
* Our clients Advanced Architecture Group is looking for a Speech Recognition Scientist to work on implementing Advanced Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) algorithms in hardware. The successful candidate will provide expertise in Speech Recognition algorithms to a team composed of hardware and software engineers, and will have a core role in defining next generation architectures. We are looking for a self-starter who demonstrates initiative and creativity in problem solving.
Familiarity with one or more of the following areas related to ASR is required:
o Acoustic Model training experience
o Language Models
o Performance/Accuracy training
o Search Algorithms
* PhD/M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with a minimum of 4 years of relevant industry or academic experience
* Demonstrated concrete contributions that have advanced either commercial or academic state of the art Speech Recognition Systems
* C/C++ programming experience
* Linux/Unix experience
* Perl or Python scripting experience
* Knowledge of ASIC or logic design is a plus
