Speech Recognition Researcher/Engineer

·         Job Description

·         OurSystems Engineering Group is looking for several highly motivated and creative individuals to implement Automatic Speech Recognition Algorithms in hardware. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of both Speech Recognition Algorithmsand Computer Algorithms. As a member of a core R&D team composed of hardware, software, and Speech Recognition engineersyou will help define the algorithms and architecture used in our next generation of products.

·         Familiarity with one or more of the following areas related to Automatic Speech Recognitionis required:
 

o        Language Modeling

o        Search Algorithms

o        Finite State Transducers

·         Familiarity with one or more of the following areas related to Computer Algorithmsis required:

o        Sorting

o        Hashing

o        Search Trees

o        Dynamic Programming

o        Parallel Algorithms

·         Education

·         PhD/M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

·         New University Graduates with direct research / work experience are encouraged to apply

·         Technical Experience

·         C/C++ programming experience

·         Linux/Unix experience

·         Perl or Python scripting experience

·         Knowledge of SystemC
