Embedded Quality Assurance Engineer

Our Client is an industry leader responsible for developing products and providing technical services. The successful applicants will participate as key members of our engineering department. There are several positions available at various levels; from the QA Engineer who is still getting started, possessing just a few years of technical experience, to the senior level proven QA Engineering Lead - where Management / Team Lead responsibilities will be part of the job duties. The ideal applicants will have several years of hands withQAEmbedded Testing.

You must possess detailed knowledge with the majority of the following technologies;

·         Scripting with Bash, TCL, and/or Perl

·         Linux / Unix Shell

·         Linux Kernel Device Drivers

·         Diagnostics for ARM Processors

·         Emulation Baseboard (EB) - an FPGA based motherboard which is always paired with a plug-in daughterboard to provide the system's ARM core personality

·         CoreTiles (CT) - give the developer a choice of ARM CPU cores for the Emulation Baseboard

·         Platform Baseboards (PB) - are highly integrated, standalone development systems with a fixed CPU type

·         LogicTiles (LT) - provide high gate count FPGA expansion capability for any Versatile baseboard

·         Interface Tile (IT1) - provides access to LogicTile FPGA IOs via standard connectors

·         Soft Macro Models (SMM) - FPGA implementations of ARM processors, built from Versatile family boards

·         Board Bring Up – Uboot -Boot Loader

·         Diagnostics, POST   - Memory Devices

The strongest candidates with have education (MSCS, MSEE or Ph.D.) and leadership experience that has given them Senior Level and detailed understanding ofEmbedded Systems Development.
