 Our Hiring Company is looking to add 2 or 3 Full Time Permanent MAC / Firmware Engineers.  The positions will be Senior and also Mid Level individual contributors. We are working in the Smart Grid System on Chip marketplace.

 Job Description

We are looking for qualified candidates for the development of Medium Access Control (MAC) firmware. This will be a hands-on position, designing/implementing firmware. Candidate must have experience in software/firmware and system architecture designs.

Start Date is Immediate!

 Requirements

• 4+ years of firmware/MAC development experience is required
• PAN / LAN / WAN standards – 802.15or 802.11/16 experience strongly preferred
• Access methods (CSMA/CA, TDMA, etc)
• Association and authentication protocols
• Link layer, MAC, and Transport and Internet layer protocols
• Knowledge of network theory network protocols such as UDP, TCP, and IP
• Embedded C programming
• Real-time and embedded Operating Systems (RTOS)
• Implementation of networking device drivers and corresponding firmware
• Committed to producing high quality, well designed software
• Team player and excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills
