Telvent, a part of Schneider Electric, currently has an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to assume the role of Analyst in Vancouver, WA, Chesterbrook, PA, Houston, TX, Athens, GA, Fort Collins or Broomfield, CO to design, create, support and maintain custom software applications used by Telvent Utility Group clients.

Responsibilities
- Work as a member of our project consulting team
- Perform a variety of tasks relating to implementing and customizing desktop, mobile and server-based applications for electric, gas, water and wastewater utility clients
- Development of new tools and the enhancement of existing software
- Ability Learn new technologies and processes as these become important to our business
- Travel domestically and internationally, about 25 to 35%, will be required

Requirements
- A Bachelor*s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline such as Math, Physics or Geoscience. Relevant job experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Technical experience in implementation of utility engineering software solutions such as Outage Management Systems (OMS), SCADA, Distribution Management Systems (DMS), Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and/or Engineering Analysis (EA). Experience in any or all of these areas will be considered.
- Experience developing end-user applications and interfaces with an object oriented programming language, such as C# for both the desktop and web.
- Experience with commercial RDBMS such as Oracle and SQL Server preferred.
- Experience working with electric, gas, water and wastewater utility companies preferred
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Relocation to a Telvent Utilities Group (TUG) office is required. We have offices in Vancouver, WA, Chesterbrook, PA, Houston, TX, Athens, GA, and Fort Collins and Broomfield, CO
