Schneider Electric currently has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of .NET Web Developer in our Omaha, NE location. Schneider Electric is looking for a highly skilled Web Developer to join our Energy Development team. Recent graduates or entry level candidates are encouraged to apply! This individual will be able to design and develop new products and enhance existing products using a variety of web technologies.
Responsibilities - Participating in understanding the requirements and collaborating in the design - Design documentation, prototype, code and test components - Partner with the QA team through the testing plans and execution - Support operational department and production systems as needed - Additional responsibilities as assigned by Technical Lead or Development Manager
Requirements - BA/BS in MIS, Computer Science or related field (Associates degree with 2+ years relevant experience will also be considered). - 1-2 years experience in web application design and development - Experience using web services to communicate with applications - Experience developing with .NET in C# using Visual Studio 2010 - Experience with Database design - Desired experience with ASP.NET, jQuery, Unit Testing and WCF - Desired experience in Oracle 10g or higher - Desired experience in developing PL/SQL Stored Procedures - Skilled in analyzing product requirements and designing solutions accordingly - Ability to work independently and in a team - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
