DTN, a part of Schneider Electric, currently has an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to assume the role of Product Manager - SaaS Web Solutions in our Omaha, NE or Burnsville, MN location. The Product Manager serves as the primary liaisons between the Business and IT areas and is responsible for collecting business requirements, designing solutions, overseeing the development, and coordinating the testing of innovative business solutions for our clients/customers
Responsibilities - Collaborate with business and technology areas to efficiently solve business needs / problems with unique and innovative business/system designs and solutions - Conduct research studies that may include collecting, analyzing, trending and presenting data and recommendations to executive management - Define, develop and document business requirements to ensure clients* needs are captured and delivered - Develop and document current business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and document future business process flows - Lead business requirements and process flow walk-through with key stakeholders/users and with the application areas to obtain understanding and sign-off - Lead multiple projects in order to achieve business objectives and ensure that business objectives/requirements are agreed to by all stakeholders - Perform project management duties, including the creation of status reports, work plans, and presentations to executive leadership teams - Direct quality assurance and user acceptance testing by writing test scripts, executing test cases and documenting defects - Develop financial models and tools, including cost-benefit analysis, resource utilization models and performance reports - Create written and oral communication materials that effectively summarize findings, support fact-based recommendations and provide appropriate detail to substantiate conclusions - Support the creation of sales pursuit materials and other business development activities
Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in business administration or computer-related field preferred - At least 5+ years experience in any of the following areas: Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or Business Process Improvement - 5 + years project management experience involving both business and technology projects - Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills - Solid understanding of the Systems Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) is highly preferred - Prior work experience in a consulting, PMO or Technology organization is a plus - Formal training in Project Management, Business Process Management, Quality Management Tools such as Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus - Knowledge of software applications, database management systems, mobile apps, and other business related technologies is a plus
