Telvent, a part of Schneider Electric, currently has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to assume the role of Smart Grid Services Analyst based in our Fort Collins, CO location, assisting internal and external customers with complex software application issues. A candidate for this position may reside in Fort Collins or a remote location.

Responsibilities
- Communication to clients, account managers and project managers
- Assist with installation and maintenance of large enterprise Distribution Management Software
- Provide technical assistance on supported software for internal and external clients
- Troubleshoot possible software bugs, configuration issues with subject matter experts and developers, and log software bugs with project or development team
- Report client functionality requests or software change requests to development team
- Maintain knowledge base of resolution paths and known issues
- Support 24x7 critical clients
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure the success of our clients

Requirements
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Knowledge of network and server system architecture
- Network communication and server system architecture
- Knowledge of ICCP and CIM
- GIS experience helpful
- C++ and C#.NET programming skills
- Experience working on different Windows Operating Systems, both server and client editions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness to constantly learn and improve oneself
- Previous software development experience and understanding of the development process is helpful
- Ability to travel internationally and in North America for extended training periods during first few years
- Experience with the North American Electric Grid/Model is a plus
- Knowledge of SCADA systems required, experience a plus
