We are seeking Mechanical Engineer for Permanent Position in Duluth, GA. Performs mechanical engineering functions in the execution of assigned projects as part of a cross functional team. This would include project planning, development of products and solutions to technical problems, coordination of activities with design and lab personnel, interfacing as needed with marketing and operations to support the achievement of overall project goals.

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)

EXPERIENCE:

2-5 years experience as a design engineer with mechanical focus

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Development and realization of low to high volume industrial products within a phase gated development process (NPD).
• Understanding and ability to design equipment utilizing a broad range of manufacturing processes consistent with project scope using Lean Six Sigma and DFMA methodologies.
• Excellent working knowledge of materials, mechanical design, heat transfer, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
• Ability to work with cross functional teams
• Ability to design and analyze components and complex assemblies using 3D modeling and simulation tools (SolidWorks®). Conduct fluid dynamics simulation using tools such as ANSYS® Fluent (CFD).

Responsibilities :

• Conversion of product requirements into technical specifications, development of conceptual and detailed designs along with necessary risk assessments, engineering analysis or testing required to achieve robust and cost effective solutions.　　
• Identifies, analyzes and resolves a range of complex problem types.　
• May direct support personnel in preparation of detailed design, design testing, prototype fabrication and/or manufacturing.　
• Has responsibility for interpreting, organizing, planning, executing and coordinating project assignments.　
• Maintains liaison with individuals and units within and outside his/her organization with responsibility for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to his/her field.
• Other duties as assigned
