Advantage Tech is looking for multiple software developers for a great Overland Park Client.  They have a top notch team and are growing here in Kansas City using great technology.

Developer Requirements:

Contract-to-hire or straight contract developer position we’ll be looking for the following skills, knowledge and traits:

Must have a minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience writing line of business apps using the following Microsoft platforms:

• Silverlight and/or WPF

• XAML

Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the following frameworks:

• Caliburn Micro

• NHibernate w/ FluentNHibernate

• WCF RIA Services & WCF SOAP Services

Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the following concepts:

• Model-View-View Model design – what is it & why is it used extensively in rich and smart client applications, specifically in WPF & Silverlight.

• Object-relational Mapping – what is it & when should it be used vs. a more lightweight method of access.

• Dependency Injection – benefits & knowledge of commonly used implementations.

Other skills of interest:

• Familiarity with ‘bootstrapping’ constructs – ways of wiring up application components.

• Familiarity with analyzing N+1 Select scenarios in domain-driven service oriented applications.

• Knowledge of current enterprise service bus frameworks, their benefits and where they fit in enterprise development.

• Ability to easily adapt to changes in frameworks, platforms and environments.
