Advantage Tech is currently seeking a Tier 1 PC Support Technician for a great Client in Overland Park, Kansas.  This Client has excellent benefits including: Medical and Dental coverage, 401k with matching of 5%, education reimbursement, full private gym, and more.  They have a casual working environment and the IT department has a family feel.

The Tier 1 PC Support Technician is responsible for providing PC and desktop application support to local and remote users. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for troubleshooting issues with other peripherals such as printers, faxes, scanners, and copiers. The PC Tech is also responsible for ordering and initial setup of new hardware and desktop software. Support in maintaining all network functions and interacting with the Company’s outside service providers is expected in this position.

Qualifications

      · Associates degree in Information Technology or similar field required.

      · Bachelors degree related to Information Technology is preferred.

      · Requires 2+ yrs. experience in a fast paced Help Desk and/or a distributed network and desktop support environment, including desk side and phone support.

      · Excellent communication and soft skills required.

      · Strong PC and Microsoft Office suite application troubleshooting skills required.

      · Experience with PC drive imaging/cloning tools in both commercial and open source versions.

      · Experience supporting applications in a Citrix server - XenApp environment including working knowledge of the Citrix Delivery Services Console

      · Experience with AD and Exchange account configuration is desired.

      · Minimum of A+ hardware certification. Prefer MS support certifications.

      · Experience supporting a fast paced work environment a plus.
