Advantage Tech is seeking a Data Analyst for our healthcare Overland Park Client. The DMS Analyst is responsible for loading, migrating, and supporting client data.  This includes historical imports, demographic updates, and client migration between companies/locations.  Development, maintenance, and support of DMS Tools. 

Summary:

The DMS Analyst is responsible for loading, migrating, and supporting client data.  This includes historical imports, demographic updates, and client migration between companies/locations as well as development, maintenance and support of DMS Tools. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Position will be responsible for supporting and developing applications, working with DMS team, and providing status updates to supervisor.  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Analyze, convert and upload new client data provided by previous vendors
• Maintain existing applications.
• Participate in requirements analysis and detail design of potential and planned software application.
• Analyze business systems requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Design, document, test and implement application features and enhancements.
• Review, troubleshoot and repair software defects in existing application.
• Communicate with customers, partners, and team members.
• Manipulate, update demographic data based on client requests.
• Additional duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years IT experience as Software Engineer required
• Exceptional communication, documentation and reporting skills required.
• Familiarity with key database environments - SQL Server, MySQL required.
• Experience with SQL programming, views, functions, stored-procedures required.
• Experience with administration and operation of data systems required.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills required.
• Attention to details and quality.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

These skills are preferred but not required for this position.

• Experience with key software development languages – VB or C# and the Microsoft’s .NETenvironment.
• Proficiency in Win7 operating systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent.
