Our client, a Fortune 500 Tech Company, located in Hillsboro, OR directly contributes toward the worlds leading hardware and software industries. They are looking for Software Build System Tester who will perform tests on a large scale open source software build and release system.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:


Evaluate requirements and define test cases
Develop and execute tests, enter issues, and write test reports
Work with build team to correct issues
Working in a Linux, Android, and Solaris environment


This is an estimated6+ month contingent/temporary position in Hillsboro, OR and is offered through Volt Technical Resources which is located in Portland, OR. Requirements:

Software Build System Tester Qualifications:


Build experience with, deep understanding of, and ability to test on Linux
Experience testing, developing, and maintaining large scale build systems
Extensive experience scripting with BASH, Perl, Python, and Ruby
Experience with build tools, GIT, Gerrit, and Jenkins
Understanding and experience with good test processes ability to troubleshoot/find root causes
White box testing


Education:


High School Diploma/GED


Bonus Skills - Nice to Have for this Position:


Experience with mobile OS devices
Experience with HTML5 or JQuery Mobile
Experience with C
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field
Intel experience
