This is a W2 position, no corp to corp.Our client, a leading provider of central processing units and semiconductors is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer for Open network Platform (ONP) Project.Systems Integration of technologies to validate emerging software-defined networking/open network solutions and Cloud Data Center solutions, build Reference Architecture content that can be used by product teams/end-users. Responsibilities: Data Center infrastructure installations and configuration in a lab environment.This includes full installation, configuration of Server, Network, Storage infrastructure, OS provisioning. Installing and Integrating addition technology stacks. Develop test cases/scenarios, Full functionality and integration testing, test data collection, test results compilation, analysis. Automation and documentation for cloning of additional environments.

Requirements:

Proficient knowledge and work experience in multiple OS (Linux, Windows) and VMM environments (ESXi, Xen, KVM, Hyper-V), Knowledge of Data Center Network technologies (switching, TCP/IP stack), Storage (FC, iSCSI, NFS, FCoE), Cloud Management (vCenter, XenCenter etc.) Hands on experience in platform builds such as H/W set up, OS images builds, BIOS and/or firmware configurations. Similar Knowledge in Virtualization setup and cloud management solutions. Proven Analytical/troubleshooting skills for system HW/SW problems and SW stack. Good verbal and written communication skill; pro-active and willingly documentation and communication. Self-manage time and be a self-starter. Good addition if there is Development/scripting knowledge (like shell scripting, Perl, Python etc) in Linux/Windows environments 3 to 5 years experience with Cloud Computing, networking and Data Center virtualization technologies
