Volt is looking for an Engineering Services Designer for a client in the Palo Alto area. This particular client is a global leader in the medical device industry. You'll be tasked with creating and modifying complex layouts and detailed drawings using CAD software. You'll work with a team to assist in the facilitation of manufacturing operations and quality of products. The designer checks drawing plots versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standards. You may be tasked with file maintenance, backup and storage.
Requirements:
To be successful in this position you need to be proficient with AutoCAD 2004 or better. Proficiency with Solidworks is required. You should be familiar with office tools and technology, and have a thorough understanding of STO OFT design practices. Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired. Associate Degree or equivalent experience 6 - 8 years of related experience is needed.
