What you need for this position:
- Experience using JavaFX or GWT
- Strong (5+ years) of hands on experience in Core Java. Certification Preferred
- Proven experience developing Rich Client GUI
- Experience developing and deploying Java Swing applications and applets
- Experience using Java Parsers like SAX and DOM
- Experience using frameworks like Hibernate and Spring
- Experience with J2EE /Java Server side technologies like RESTful Web Services
- Experience with iOS/Android applications
- BS or MS degree in EE, CS, or Mathematics or equivalent

Desirable Additional Skills:
- Cross platform development and deployment (Windows and Linux)
- Computer Networking experience
- Experience in JavaScript
- Experience with HTML5
- Experience in C/C++

What you'll be doing:
- Develop Java/Swing control applications for a growing video product line.
- Analyze system requirements and develop Java control and GUI applications with lead software designers and Product Marketing Managers.
- Prioritize, schedule, track, and coordinate the development, verification and release of your code with other hardware & software engineers and program managers.
- Verify software functionality both in your own test environment as well as in conjunction with the rest of the project team and system test engineers.
- Effectively communicate ideas, objectives and plans both internally and outside the Software team.
