If you are a Senior Engineer with interest in Financial Technology Products and leading edge distributed systems work, please read on!

Our products services some of the largest hedge funds and investment banks in the world. Work with like-minded smart engineering and business talent to develop leading edge Financials applications. We seek a server-side developer to join our team to design and implement adapters, which move high-speed data into and out of the Trading engine. You will develop and maintain adapters, which move real-time data between our trading engine and users. This position requires hands-on development expertise, developing innovative solutions for scalable, high performance, secure distributed systems. The engineer will optimize performance, with latency measured in microseconds and throughput in tens-of-thousands of messages per second. Our products are highly distributed and complex. You will not be bored!

What you need for this position:

- Java server-side programming
- Experience in clustered or distributed server software
- Experience working with Java and/or C++ APIs and client libraries
- Experience developing high-performance system software, with focus on latency and throughput performance tuning, connection scalability, and reliability
- BS in Computer Science and/or related work experience

Nice to have experience:
- Experience with financial applications
- Experience with the FIX protocol
- Experience with Reuters and Bloomberg APIs and protocols
- Exposure to enterprise service bus products such as JMS, LBM, and Tibco
