Senior .Net Developer/Programmer

Client work location can be any of: Minneapolis (Plymouth), MN 55441, Amherst, NY 14226, ot Lansing, MI

Will be responsible for design, development, unit testing, implementation, and support of new and existing .NET solutions.

Candidate will work under limited supervision, with an expectation of both independent work as well as collaboration with others on the team. Candidate will be considered a technical leader within the IT development organization, and therefore will represent the interests of the department while mentoring others and leading by example. Core competencies include but aren’t limited to:

• Object oriented design and analysis
• Domain/Application architecture
• Strong database skills (advanced T-SQL) / SQL Server
• Unit testing
• Technical troubleshooting
• Service oriented architecture
• Web services (WCF, SOAP)
• HTTP protocol
• General networking principles (application layer)

N-Tier and client/server architecture Experience:

• 10+ years software developer
• 7+ years application design
• 7+ years database experience (SQL Server)
• 5+ years in a senior or lead role

Education:

• BS in Computer Science, or Information Systems, or Management Information Systems; or combination of education and equivalent experience. Other:
•  10 to 15% national travel
• Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule as needed to meet project objectives
