About the Job

HTC is seeking to hire a Performance Testing Lead expert.

Location: Bloomington, IL

Duration: Long Term

Skills Required:

• Should have at least 3+ year of performance testing experience.
• Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Development background is a plus.
• Good understanding of Performance Engineering concepts and terminology.
• Good understanding of each of the performance platforms to aid in data analysis and detailed test planning.
• Understand project business scope
• Understand project technical scope down to the component level
• Should have at least 5+ years of overall Testing experience
• Good understanding of Load Runner tool and scripting background
• Good understanding of large data setup, backup and refresh strategies

Role Description:

• Establish performance and non-functional Test scope, approach and plans. Partner with Tech lead, tech engineering and development teams as necessary in establishing scope and approach of non-functional and performance testing.
• Create processes for non- functional Test design, data and execution.
• Schedule, coordinate and manage successful completion of the non-functional and performance testing of all Releases.
• Work with Test Architect to create an initial Performance Test Strategy
• Conduct initial Performance Platform related data gathering and analysis
• Document and communicate final Performance results
• Review early performance test scope, results and provide feedback for additional scope or tests.
• Understand system design and possesses good technical background.
• Researches and understands the appropriate platforms and develop understanding of legacy applications.
• Ensures all assigned resources are fully utilized
• Actively participate in the daily defect meeting.
