IBM Global Business Services (GBS) Application Innovation Services (AIS) has established a team of Enterprise Asset Management thought leaders and experts. The focus of this team is developing solutions and delivering Enterprise Asset Management programs for our clients.
The Enterprise Asset Management Executive Architect will do the following:
Business Development and Solution Development
Lead asset management client workshops in presales activities to help our clients understand the benefits of asset management, implementation options, change management and business process impacts.
Work with AIS Enterprise Asset Management and cross line of business resources to develop the Technical Solution, Project Plan, and Resource Estimates to complete the joint solution
Collaborate cross-brand and cross-geo to bring the full-breadth solution to clients and to the industry
Assist the AIS Enterprise Asset Management team to identify and cultivate potential opportunities with key clients
Plan, coordinate, and/or participate in specific business development opportunities.
Delivery
Oversee delivery of one or more concurrent projects throughout the delivery life cycle
Advise the IBM delivery team, as well as the customer, regarding key decisions related to unique Industry specific systems and operations
Help establish project staffing and governance, assist with project plan development, coordinate project kick-off activities
Provide SME support, perform project reviews, help troubleshoot project issues
Sales Pursuit
Provide Industry domain Subject Matter Expertise to assist in developing the proposed technical solution, project plan, and resource estimates
Assist in developing the overall value proposition for the proposed deal
Help coordinate the participation of critical IBM Brand resources and third party vendor professionals needed to craft the solution
Advise the sales pursuit team on IBM assets and accelerators
Write sections of the proposal documents, including the technical solution, roles and responsibilities, value proposition, and the cost case
Participate in preparation of proposal presentations; and present and explain the proposed solution to the customer
Participate in developing the overall Win Strategy and engagement plan
Assist in completing the development, negotiation, approval, and management of the bid budget
Position requires travel up to 100%.
It is also expected that newly hired resources into the Global Business Services U.S. practice live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 miles) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; New York City, NY and surrounding area; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; and Washington, DC.

Preferred * Master's Degree * At least 5 years experience in performing as a lead solution architect for one of the core IBM Enterprise Asset Management products (Tririga, Maximo), or similar solutions * At least 5 years experience in defining solution, project roadmap, estimating, determining resource requirements, and defining delivery models * At least 5 years experience in driving asset based solutioning and delivery * At least 5 years experience in participating in proposal creation and participating in orals presentation * At least 5 years experience in demonstrating strong executive presence and managing CXO level relationships
