Prestigious Enterprise Company  is currently seeking an Oracle Applications DBA. Candidate will be responsible for supporting production technical activities and actual work effort to ensure milestones are being achieved on-time for the Oracle e-Business suite on RAC environment.

Responsibilities will include:

*Performs maintenance and planning of patching calendar.
*Maintain & follow standards for UNIX (Applications & Database) environment and documents procedures.
*Provide Production, test, and development environment support.
*Ensuring the high availability, performance and security of the production databases.
*Tuning at the instance and SQL statement level.
*Responsible for overseeing monitoring, and second and third tier resolution of production issues and alerts.
*Work effectively with other Oracle DBAs, developers, infrastructure teams and external customers to resolve problems with application/database systems.
*Provide assist in supporting ERP environment enhancement/issue resolution processes and delivery of production fixes
*Maintain database on RAC environment.
*Assist other Systems Support staff in support of a major or complex product
*Install patches, upgrade, and cloning from production to other environment.
*Monitor application performance ensuring scheduled programs and interfaces are run appropriately.
*Develops scripts to support Database and Applications.
*Maintains backup and recovery of critical business data.
*Setup and configure different alerts through 10g Grid.
*Provides support for the ongoing daily operational environment.
*Provides 24 x 7 off-hour support as required.
*Responsible for the distribution of applications across the server environment.
*Develops scripts to support Database and Applications.
*Configure & maintain 11g ASM with 11g RAC environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

*College Bachelors in information Technology or related business focus area required.
*Oracle certified professional is desired.
*6+ years experience in expert knowledge of key Technologies including Oracle DBMS, Oracle Applications and Fusion Middleware.
*Experience leading Oracle e-Business Suite Release R11i and R12 applications including ERP, Financial, CRM modules in Multi-Org environment.
*Extensive work experience in Performance tuning of 11g R2 database on RAC, 11g R2 ASM, 11g R2 Database compression.
*Experience leading n-tier Oracle Applications environment with shared Applications environment.
*Experience with version 11g R2 are required. Experience with large numbers of databases (1TB+) required.
*Experience upgrading databases 10g to 11g R2 and non-RAC to RAC.
*Experience with installation, cloning, patching and administration of e-Business suite application v11i and v12.
*Experience with RMAN Backup and Recovery of Oracle databases 11g R2 with Net Backup software.
*Key area of technical experience:
*11g R2 database RAC
*11g OEM, Grid control.
