Prestigious Microsoft Gold Partner Firm, located in the western suburbs of Chicago, is currently seeking a permanent Sr. Windows Exchange VM Engineer with strong Exchange, Virtualization, and SAN experience. Candidate will have strong experience with design, implementation and support of Microsoft Technologies.

Responsibilities:
Perform system administration, installation, problem isolation, and resolution on Microsoft and Virtualization systems.

Establish system monitoring alerts and manage ongoing maintenance of those alerts

Administer Virtualization environments

Work with the software engineering team for hardware requisition and provisioning


Qualifications:

5+ years experience working with Exchange 2007/2010 and Windows 2003/2008 in an Active Directory multi-domain environment

VMware, Citrix, and/or Cisco experience preferred

Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies as implemented in a Windows /TCP/IP network, including DHCP, DNS and SMTP

Ability to maintain server hardware and troubleshoot and resolve production problems

Must have proven technical problem solving

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent documentation and knowledge management skills
