Senior PHP Developer

 Description

Job Purpose:

Senior PHP developer for design, build and support of business applications for the institute. The person must have web-application development experience in PHP, MySQL, Oracle and other web technologies.

Major Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of web based solutions using PHP to meet application needs.
• Understand end user requirements and translate to design, code and implementation.
• Provide mentoring to other team members on PHP based architecture.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Education:  B.S. in Computer Science or related

• Work Experience: 5+ years’ experience developing web application in with PHP; Experience with Drupal will be a plus.

• Skills: Experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript (including jQuery); Comfortable working in the LAMP stack. Strong understanding of Object Oriented design and programming.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Skills:  Familiarity with Drupal, SugarCRM, user interface development and mobile web application development.
