Pyramid Consulting has an IMMEDIATE need for a Sr. Java developer our major client. This position is based in Alpharetta, GA.

Position: Sr. Java developer

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Duration: Long term Contract

Details of Position:

· Sr. Programmer Analyst responsible for all phases of application development, for components comprising an Enterprise Transportation Management System. Advance knowledge in Application Architecture is a must. Must have experience in design, code reviews, and development using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Script and strong working knowledge of Java, JMS, MQ Series. Working Experience in Web application development required. Experience using Oracle 11g and/or WLS Web Logic strongly preferred. Experience in Application-to-Application integration is required. Experience in performance testing and application tuning is a must.
· Candidate is expected to lead small teams of developers, communicate well, and be an efficient multi-tasking professional in a fast-paced environment.
· Candidate must have strong organizational, communication, and relationship skills.
· Candidate must be familiar with I.T. application technical standards and methodologies.

Management Skills:

· Candidate must have team coordination skills. Knowledge of Supply Chain business concepts, topics, and workflows is a strong plus. Knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Unix Shell Script is required. Strong knowledge of Oracle Transportation Management, data mapping analysis, integration skills is required.
· Experience developing reports and creating technical design documents is preferred. Working knowledge of Java, JMS, Web Service and Middleware is desired. Fluent verbal English skills are required. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience.
