Pyramid Consulting has an IMMEDIATE need for a Middleware Administrator with our direct client, A Global Telecommunications Firm. This position is based in Hoover, AL or in Alpharetta, GA.

Client will consider all candidates who are authorized to work in US. Out-of-town candidates will be considered for this position.

Expected Duration: 4+ Months Contract

Job Description:
Excellent Communication Skills required.
Expert shell scripting using various lauguages, including
- major UNIX shells (Bourne, Korn, Bash, Perl, etc
- Phython/Jython
- Ant
- Maven
- other Java-based scripting languages
Experience with configuring and automating setup of middleware application servers and middleware components (JBoss, Websphere, Weblogic, Websphere MQ, Sonic MQ, RabitMQ, ActiveMQ, ActiveVOS, TIBCO, etc).
Experience with development of middleware application code for target containers and middleware assets. Java expert experience required.
Expert experience using at least two of the software packaging or automation solutions listed or a similar framework (RPM, APT, yum, Chef, Puppet, cfEngine, etc).
Expert experience scripting database automation and deployment solutions for major commercial and opensource databases (Oracle, MySQL) and noSQL solutions (Cassandra, MongoDB, CouchDB, etc).
Experience with integration of cloud APIs using RESTFul or other relevant integration technologies.
Any other demonstrated relevent experience that would directly aid with development of automation solutions for cloud PaaS service offerings.
