Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for Connectivity Specialist for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial industry clients in Tampa, FL.
Responsibilities:  


* Review and process customer Service Connection Requests for connectivity into the Network.

* Review and process customer-submitted Router Exchange Forms to modify Router and Firewall definitions.

* Review and process requests to establish FTP, NDM and MQ Series connectivity. Requests are submitted to various areas to enter customer's FTP, NDM and MQ Series definitions.

* Work with customers to successfully connect their FTP, NDM and MQ Series to client's.

* Work with customers to successfully send data to DATATRAK and receive data from AUTOROUTE.

* Assist customers with production issues both connectivity and data. Answer questions regarding data elements in numerous record layouts.

* Support customer testing. Copy Production data to test and act as counterparty by entering data via online functions. Also, play Network Administrator role for Test System Entitlements.

* Technical contact to establish connectivity and entitlements for new products and services.

* Converting a firm from an obsolete technology to a new technology.

Required Skills:  


* Strong verbal communication and project management skills

* Must be a proactive self-starter

* Should have a solid understanding of data communications, CICS and VTAM

* Should have a working knowledge of WORD, POWER POINT, EXCEL and ACCESS software

* Should be familiar with Apropos and Service Center or have experience with other call and ticket management tools
