Leading Broker dealer in midtown is seeking a Quality Assurance professional that will work with trade processing.


Our client has an immediate need for  an outstanding QA Engineer to join a dynamic front office facing tech team and contribute to their quality assurance and testing efforts.

Skills

• Understanding of testing methodology; test case design and planning, test scripting .
• Defect analysis, reporting and tracking .
• Working knowledge of FIX protocol.Comfortable working in Linux shell environment.
• Exposure to Java and/or C++.Familiarity with Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting. .
• Basic understanding of algorithmic trading and smart order routing.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate and document testing plans and results.
• Ability to work in heterogeneous environments, explore and adopt new workflows..
• Preferred experience with a variety of Global Market Data vendor interfaces.
• Familiarity with Agile Development cycles. Knowledge of reference data maintenance challenges.Knowledge of common groupware and/or version control applications is a plus.
• Basic exposure to messaging models
