Job Description

This is a salaried position, but open to contract to hire

 

LAMP Developer & eComm Systems Administrator – Agoura Hills, Ca – Unable to support H1/Visa – Salaried position

 

In House, onsite, Full Time/ Salaried Front-End & Back-End LAMP Developer & eComm Systems Administrator
This is not a contract or freelance position. The ideal applicant will work directly with IT, Digital Marketing, etc. and coordinate with many departments in the company.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain Magento Enterprise-powered marketing & e-commerce sites for US and EU, hosted on Amazon EC2/RDS services with enabled caching & load balancing
• Maintain integration between Magento sites, SAP system, XI system, and other systems
• Plan, coordinate, and lead future enhancements and upgrades
• Monitor and respond to any and all breaches of network security involving e-commerce & associated systems
• Maintain a PCI-compliant e-commerce ecosystem
• Monitor and respond to any systems or network outages or technical difficulties involving e-commerce & associated systems
• Monitor and manage system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
• Continually review and improve upon website load speed, adjusting Amazon services setups accordingly
• Make recommendations to purchase hardware and software, act as lead on any installations & setup pertaining to e-commerce
• Work with internal marketing and marketing support vendors to roll out new marketing campaigns, help update the websites when needed, and to generally help achieve business goals
• Work with e-commerce, infrastructure, customer service, and other teams to help maintain excellent customer satisfaction

REQUIREMENTS

• Retail e-commerce operation with revenue exceeding 2 million USD per annum
• Magento Enterprise
• Linux & LAMP architecture planning, deployment, & maintenance
• Nginx configuration & maintenance
• SAP
• XI/PI, XML Web Services, SOAP
• PCI compliance / best practices
• APC, Amazon Elasticache, Squid, Varnish or similar caching methodology
• I18N best practices
• Ruby on Rails
• HTML, PHP, & MySQL
• PERL

 

• Amazon EC2 administration
• Amazon S3 administration
• Amazon RDS administration
• Cloudfront
• Leading team of 2 or more junior engineers

 

• Magento Developer Certification
• Magento Solution Specialist Certification
• Supported an ISO 9001 certified operation
• Hubspot experience
• Experience in other e-commerce platforms – alternatives to Magento
• CGI
• SVN, Basecamp, JIRA
