Job Description

  • Technical PM III (Project Manager III)
  • Bellflower, CA
Client located near Bellflower, CA needs a Technical PM III (Project Manager III) for a Contract to Hire position.

Client is not able to accept H1's at this time for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • PMO SharePoint administrator
  • Lead and support the implementation of project management tools as required
  • Support PMO Portfolio Management effort as assigned
  • Manage IT projects such as Duals and others as assigned
  • Microsoft Project Server (MPS) system administrator and technical support to IT project managers and users
  • Perform (MPS) system maintenance and support, upgrade, configuration and set up of Microsoft Project Server
  • Perform level 2, 3, and 4 production support for Microsoft Project Server
  • Perform data analysis, create and produce reports from MPS as required
  • Assist IT project managers and users in creation, update and maintenance of their projects in MPS
  • PMO SharePoint administrator
  • Other PMO support activities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior experience in an IT PMO function or organization
  • 5+ year IT project implementation and management experience
  • Preferred prior management consulting experience
  • Preferred 1-2 years processes experience
  • 1-2 years of MPS implementation and support experience or other project management tools/software
  • Experience with MPS data structure & reporting (Crystal reports)
  • Prior experience of user support for MPS
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team, meet challenges and team player
  • Ability to work with business and IT to create or develop complete & integrated solution
  • Professional, technical team lead, excellent team work and collaboration
  • Knowledge of SDLC
  • Excellent communication, inter-personal skills, teamwork and leadership
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast pace and dynamic environment and interactive with cross function Business and IT teams and executives
