Northrop Grumman Technical Services is seeking a Logistics Planner 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals who provide Logistics Planning Support, Systems Integration, and Maintenance Support for assigned systems through analysis of Engineering Data Packages and Customer Directives. Selected applicant will analyze technical data and reports to determine spares and support equipment provisioning requirements. Analyze and coordinate completion of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements involving support equipment. Reviews site survey results and formulates specific recommendations for spare/repair parts and support equipment. Controls the asset position of customer inventories. Provide technical assistance to existing customer personnel. Applicant will exhibit the use and/or application of principles, theories, and concepts for monitoring trend data for repair processes. Have knowledge of industry practices and standards. Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Review and organize calibration and equipment inspection schedules. Works under only very general supervision. Work will be reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy. Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, and other personnel in the section or group. Represents section or group on specific projects. Candidate must be familiar with support equipment as well as other common systems. Interpret engineering data, blueprints, drawings, schematics, and manuals for maintenance support. Assist in data entry for Fleet Management Tool. Assist in performing maintenance validation/verification of developed procedures. Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Reviews released engineering data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, and engineering data control activities. TSLOG
Candidate must have experience with testing, validating and verifying powered Aerospace Ground Equipment operations including; all aspects of maintenance, inspections, servicing, quality assurance. Also must have experience updating maintenance data and training materials. Candidate must have experience with testing, validating and verifying, Non-powered Aerospace Ground Equipment operations including; all aspects of maintenance, inspections, servicing, quality assurance. Must have thorough knowledge of special purpose vehicles, special mission equipment and supply support. Candidate must have complete understanding of all logistic elements, supportability, maintainability and logistics support analysis. Candidate must be able to identify and predict support equipment spares and consumable usage rates. Candidate must have knowledge of AFI 21 101. Candidate must be able to work with external organizations to evaluate engineering data, technical data and training materials. Applicants should have a minimum experience of 4 years related experience or 0 years with Bachelor's Degree. All applicants must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport, accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements such as chemical warfare training and immunizations that may include anthrax and smallpox. Applicants must meet medical requirements for worldwide travel. Candidate must possess and be able to maintain a minimum Secret Security Clearance.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills are required. Applicants must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
