Job Description – SFDC Developer Overview:

The Developer is responsible for the overall design and configuration of the SFDC solution for the company. He/she will drive the planning & design of the application, work with consultants assists with development and coding of custom apps, objects, fields and new functionality. This is a highly visible position in a large profitable Pre-IPO company in Irvine



  • Manage SFDC application according to governance model
  • Work with business units to resolve SFDC user issues and data issues
  • Assist with SFDC data imports and maintain integrations to other business applications
  • Execute SFDC configuration changes, perform new release evaluations and execute new functionality roll-outs
  • Design, build, test and deploy SFDC customizations which may include form layout changes, workflow triggers, workflow alerts, automated email responses, etc.
  • Primary contact for application systems development, management, and administration and modeling of business applications
  • Liaison to the application vendor for extended problem resolution, license maintenance and support agreements



  • 3-5 years of experience as a developer with proven experience developing custom apps using Apex coding platform,
  • Experience designing/building custom and/or dynamic dashboards
  • Implementation of and integration with standard and custom objects, triggers, workflows/workflow rules.
  • Ability to coordinate with implementation partners, other IT managers and developers in providing solution suggestions and constructive feedback.
  • Keen attention to detail and complex problem solving abilities from operational and technical perspective
  • Ability to evaluate and review design frameworks and methodologies from SFDC best practices in order to achieve functional and non-functional requirements and conformance to the architecture
  • Must be creative, innovative and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to abstract detail into larger patterns, familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques
  • Ability to interact with technical and functional staff at all levels
  • Experience with third-party tools (e.g. SFDC Excel Connector, SFDC Data Loader, etc.)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and engage supervisor as needed.
  • Ability to travel to other company locations for projects as needed (approx. 25%)


  • B.S computer science or related fields
  • Experience in full life cycle SFDC development across all phases, preferably in a complex, dynamic environment
  • SFDC Certification required
