Job Description

  • Test Conductor 3


* Develop and execute system test procedures for the development of the Global Hawk program.

* Maintains hardware and software configurations.

* Utilizes laboratory test equipment to include O-scopes, RF signal generators, arbitrary wave form generator and multi meters. Responsible to ensure engineering tests serve mission objectives and mechanisms are in place to execute the tests. Responsible for testing all customer samples. Oversees the operational aspects of engineering tests and serves as liaison to program, engineering and line management. Reviews status of test requirements, manages schedules and prepares reports. Selects and supervises technicians during test. Assesses anomalies and develops resolutions to documented procedures in conjunction with Test and Quality Engineering.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technical, Engineering or Mathematics related educational field plus 5 years of related experience

* Master plus 3 years experience or

* HS Diploma (Test Conductor) plus 9 years of related experience.

* Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Ability to obtain and maintain SCI/SSBI clearance preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills. Candidate must be able to work in a diverse and dynamic team environment.

* A desired candidate would have relevant experience in group projects, internships and demonstrate leadership though community service, professional organizations and/or honor societies.

* Has knowledge of general electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, frequency synthesizers and signal generators, digital multi-meter required.

* Familiarity with other electronic test equipment such as Spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, protocol analyzer vector signal analyzer a plus.

* Should be able to work independently under general supervision. Should be able to support troubleshooting and anomaly resolution of test set and deliverable hardware.

* Should be able to generate and support disposition of discrepancy documentation. Should be able to support shift work including extended shifts, shift rotation, weekends and occasionally holidays. Should be able to travel in support of test activities, for both long and short durations.
