Description of Work:

• Build and/or maintain online tools to support a web portal used by both IT and business clients.
• Perform requirements analysis in association with IT and business.
• Troubleshoot all issues and perform upgrades as needed.
• Adhere to defined standards during development and implementation.
• Perform documentation as needed.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of overall Software Developer experience
• 3+ years of PL/SQL development experience with emphasis on understanding stored procedures, functions, packages and triggers.
• 3+ years with Oracle 10g or 11g database experience
• 3+ years knowledge/experience with the following technologies: JAVA, Shell scripting (PERL), Linux, batch scheduling (cronjob) and monitoring
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment
• Ability to be proactive in approach and resolution, be able to take on tasks to circumvent and or minimize data exposure
• Excellent planning, time management, multi-tasking, problem resolution and decision making abilities.
• Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal business and technical teams as well as vendors and consultants.
• Ability to take directions and plan and execute independently or with minimal guidance is required in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Prior Telecom OSS or BSS experience preferred
