Description:

The network Engineer will Facilitating overall network support, to include communicating with service and installation network providers (e.g., Navy Marine Corps Intranet, Army Network Enterprise Center, etc.), configuring the hardware into the local environment (i.e., site infrastructure), and fine-tuning the operating system and application software,

Job skills

Providing and maintaining desktop hardware (e.g., laptops, peripherals, telephones, mobile phones, printers, copiers, etc.) and COTS software applications to the end user

Managing customer/helpdesk support (i.e., installing, loading, troubleshooting hardware issues, questions regarding web services, training users on software applications, Information Technology Request (ITR) maintenance, etc.)

Providing Audio/Visual (A/V), VTC, and telecommunications support

Procuring hardware and software to support day-to-day activities, as required

Provides key automation and instrumentation technology support
