Description:
Participates in the development and implementation of complex databases, including design work. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. May have responsibility for a project or significant portion of a project. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member or as an individual contributor. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants or managers. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems. Typically 5-7 years of IT experience.
REQUIRED: Typically 5-7 years of IT experience
- Transact SQL proficient in SQL Server 2008; SQL Server 2008 SSIS proficient (SQL Server Integration Services); SSAS (SQL Server Analysis services) proficient; proficient writing complex stored procedures.
- Familiarity with the Kimball Methodology of Data Warehousing
- Strong design and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in abstract logic and complex design challenges
- Experience with table driven solutions and parameterized processes
- Strong communication skills
- Collaborative work practices
PROJECT: Upgrading IVR platform to a new vendor
DAY TO DAY:
- Design and Build the reporting platforms to pull call information from source to data warehouse
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Started with SQL Server 2005 and now use SQL Server 2008
- Understanding of Ralph Kimball Methodology, applying methodology in the past is HUGE plus
