Job Description:

Responsible for on-time, on-budget analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation tasks on web projects and application releases/phases adhering to shop’s web architecture, design, and development standards.   Responsible for the unit testing and integration testing of assigned tasks following approved testing procedures and guidelines. 

• Design and Develop/Modify code to Java/J2EE specifications (Spring framework, EJB3.0, JMS, JPA2.0, Web services) adhering to best practices, shop standards and ensuring quality.
• Responsible for analyzing and resolving failures that occur as a result of unit testing, integration testing and system acceptance testing.
• Experience in the area of configuration management using tools like ANT, Clearcase, Jython scripts.
• Experience in Websphere Application Server (WAS 8.0) and related configuration.
• Manage risks and issues with assigned tasks and is responsible for ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
• Responsible for coordinating the transition of the application from a development to production environment.
• Provide ongoing production support along with implementing enhancements/new requirements.
• Responsible for progress and time reporting status on assigned tasks.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong self-motivating skills.
• Work with a team and on an individual basis.
