Security Clearance: Ability to be cleared to a Secret

Two or more years' experience with listed Suite of HP products.

Must be proficient in HP ITSM 9.3, HP UCMDB, HP Asset Manager 10 or newer, HP DDMI, and HP Client Automation 8.1 or newer, including their installation, support, deployment and integration of these products.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel are required

Must be capable of attaining a SECRET clearance.

This position reports directly to the C-130 Aircrew Training System (ATS) Courseware and Information Systems Manager. Listed are some of the duties:

- Develop, setup, operate, maintain HP Suite of products and repair/recover databases and program applications to exploit the data contained in the HP databases supporting aircrew training.
- Package software, Microsoft patches, and PC system images in the HP Client Automation for deployment to ATS users. In addition, test Microsoft patches for adverse effects on deployed software and minimize risk to the ATS.
- Manages and oversees license structure of HP products as needed.
- Supports HP software installations and management for client/server environment.
- Prepares and conducts training sessions, briefings and meets with DoD customer representatives.
- Interacts with USAF IT personnel to ensure functionality of flight planning software.

Hours may include nights, weekends, and on call requirements. Other duties as assigned.

Technical/engineering degree preferred, knowledge of SQL 2008 is desired
