Help Desk Support Technician
Description:
The Army Equipping Enterprise System, has an opening for a Help Desk Support Technician to provide first line technical support to users in the area application support and data requests.
- The Technician will answer moderately complex technical questions and develop reports based on customer requests.
- The Technician will work with end users, collaborate with Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, and other support desks across the customer environment, and engineers.
- The Technician will respond, track, and follow up to telephone, email and team member requests for support.
- The Technician will assist users will all system capabilities such as: office programs, scanning, printing, file recovery.
- The Technician will also document and track workstation requests as well as track user account creation, termination requests and reset requests.
All candidates must be flexible in hours to meet help desk requirements.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications: Associates degree and demonstrated technical abilities is required. The successful candidate will have comprehensive knowledge in the use of personal computers, and proven ability in the use of pertinent software applications.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior service in the US Army, knowledge of SQL and previous help desk support experience are preferred.
