Responsibilities:

The candidate should have the ability to develop and implement standard software engineering practices, as well as detailed organizational and documentation skills to support automation, quality and reporting efforts.

This employee will work well with minimal supervision in order to:

• Prioritize work with input from IT and Business groups
• Regularly report progress, risks and concerns to IT and Business groups
• Seek consensus on release decisions between IT and Business groups
• Develop and maintain applications, frameworks and other utilities.
• Develop and implement new or refined practices, tools and processes to improve application quality

Required Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience is required.
• 1 to 5+ years software development experience, QA development experience is preferred.
• 1+ years development experience with C# /.NET or 3+ Java development experience is strongly preferred.
• 1+ years T-SQL experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience/Knowledge of Agile software development (XP, Scrum, Lean) and QA practices preferred
• Automation testing experience with web and desktop applications preferred
• GUI automation experience preferred
• Experience with Continuous Integration or Build Engineering is a plus
• Experience with WCF, Sharepoint, or FAST is a plus.
