This role will focus on enhancing the user experience with the company meeting technology and unified communication (UC) systems; working with the network group and vendors to implement enhancements and upgrades. This person will own, enhance, support and maintain audio-visual, web conferencing, meeting/communication technology equipment, conference rooms and hosted meeting technology systems. This includes coordinating meetings, operating, maintaining and configuring equipment as well as coordinating repairs, upgrades, managing contracts and bills with the vendors. Responsibilities: Manage UC/AV projects and upgrades in partnership with network group & vendor Provide staff and executives with all AV/web/multimedia technology for meetings or webcasts Create and provide UC/AV/multimedia training for staff Create solutions for presenters with various UC/AV/multimedia requirements Introduce new communication features/technologies to the staff Assume ownership & moderation of large scope conferences/meetings Partner with vendors for day to day use and future enhancements Develop and implement equipment maintenance plan Coordinate and follow through on all contract repair and maintenance of A/V equipment Plan & execute monthly/quarterly testing of less frequently used equipment Research & pilot new technologies to build business cases to add business value Manage and run seminar AV needs nationwide Manage telecom contracts/invoices Act as subject matter expert for Help Desk group Requirements / Skills: Bachelors Degree in a related preferred- Not required Strong vendor management skills Proven ability to own/run projects and systems 4-6 years of experience using/running communications technology such as Desktop video conference Room to room video conference / integrated conference rooms Multi-site meetings Unified communication systems (MS Lync, Cisco Jabber, WebEx) AV & Video Conference technology experience (Polycom, AMX, Smarttech) 2-4 years of experience running/coordinating large scale multi-site meetings 2-4 years of experience with Windows, MS Office and multimedia software (such as Adobe Captivate or similar tool) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work closely with staff at all levels face to face and via phone For immediate consideration please call or email: |
