We have an immediate opening for a Knowledge Manager at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD with the Army Test Command (ATC).

Responsibilities:

Identify, analyze, document, manage and validate knowledge management needs; use-cases and process requirements.  Identify, analyze, document and validate technology-neutral summary and detailed functional requirements to translate and automate requirements.  Prepare business case and/or needs statements, business requirements documents, summary and functional requirements documents; use-case documents, business process diagrams, report mockups and/or layouts, workflow diagrams, eForm mockups and/or layouts.  Work with business and technical subject matter staff to elicit and validate business and functional requirements.  Adhere to stated ATC, Army, and DoD policies and guidelines such as, but not limited to, IA, Security, and IT best practices, procedures, and standards. Includes taking action when non-compliance occurs.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science or directly related field (e.g. Information Technology, Information Science, etc.).  Masters degree preferred.
  • 5 years of related knowledge management (KM) experience.
  • Experience in successful management of knowledge management/enterprise content management projects, including project planning, classification of records and documents, user adoption strategies, and implementation.  
  • Must demonstrate outstanding analytical and communications skills.
  • Experience with SharePoint is a plus, but not required.  Certification in Enterprise Content Management preferred.
  • Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IA workforce training/certification requirements, as required.
  • Must possess, or be able to obtain, a U.S. Secret clearance w/SSBI investigation.
