Group Health Cooperative in Seattle, WA seeks a qualified Senior Data Quality Analyst. GHC is investing in our business intelligence capabilities to support better customer relationships, enhance clinical analyses, and transform data into information. This is exciting, innovative work with many challenges. Currently, our Enterprise Information Management (EIM) department is seeking a talented Senior Data Quality Analyst who is passionate about health care and motivated by Group Health's purpose: to create better health for our patients and the communities we serve.
The Senior DQ Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing and executing robust data quality test plans and detailed test cases to ensure system functionality and data integrity from multiple, complex source systems on multiple platforms into our enterprise data warehouse. The Senior DQ Analyst analyzes business and technical requirements to ensure that deliverables are fully realized. He/she must engage in strong problem solving and critical thinking, and exercise sound judgment and cross group collaboration. The Senior DQ Analyst will provide technical expertise in support of other areas of the BI/DW team when necessary, including one or more of the following skill sets: ETL, reporting, production support, or business analysis.
Qualifications
The Senior DQ Analyst position requires a Bachelor degree or foreign degree equivalent; 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate quality assurance and testing experience in a data warehouse environment; and 4 years experience writing complex sql queries and coding between 2 or more RDBMSs. Experience may be gained concurrently. The individual must also have specific experience in the following: - Software Development Life Cycle. - Using quality assurance best practices, testing techniques, and bug tracking tools to facilitate productivity. - Using business intelligence and data warehousing concepts and strategies. - Using data modeling; ETL processes; and business intelligence tools.
