Required Skills : - Recent experience and clear responsibilities in a MicroStrategy Architect / Lead Developer capacity - 8 plus years of experience in BI/DW with 5 or more in application development using MicroStrategy (Architect, Developer and Administration) suite partly in V9 and above - 1 or more years of experience in customizing MicroStrategy using MicroStrategy SDK - Must be an expert in (MicroStrategy) meta-data, grid, document and dashboard development - Working experience with all the components of MicroStrategy suite including but not limited to Architect, Desktop, Object Manager, Integrity Manager, Command Manager and Distribution Services - Working experience in Teradata, Oracle including performance tuning and debugging performance bottlenecks - Must have delivered 3 or more critical project in a technical lead / lead developer capacity - Strong SQL knowledge and ability to write most complex queries - Conceptual understanding of logical and physical data model is a must and a working experience is a plus - Certifications in MicroStrategy, knowledge of Data Stage and Java is desired
"- Architect, design, develop and deliver BI / Reporting applications using MicroStrategy, Teradata and Oracle - Lead a small team of developers distributed across different geographic locations and manage the technical delivery - Participate in requirement gathering sessions and guide the requirements by providing insights of EDW - Participate in design, implementation peer reviews - Participate and guide data integration solutions that are needed to fill the data gaps - Debug data quality issues by analysing the up stream sources and provide guidence to data integration team resolutions - Closely work with DBAs to fix performance bottlenecks - Conduct end user demos and trainings - Participate in technology governance groups that defines policies, best practices and make design decisions in on-going projects - Mentor junior developers regarding best practices and technology stacks used to build the application - Work in collaborative environments that follow agile project management methodologies like XP and Scrum - Work closely with MicroStrategy, Teradata administration teams for code migrations and production support"
