• Sr. Level Tech Consultant / Web Apps

Client is seeking a Sr. Technical Consultant with 10 years experience for a direct hire opportunity.  This position is a senior level direct customer facing role that is a technical position that supports the implementation & support of multiple client products and services.

Works as a consulting team member or an individual professional services consultant on billable product implementation, enhancement or integration projects and also serves as a third line support required for an ASP hosted environment.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Second/Third level support for production ASP/SaaS infrastructure.


• Responsible for technical installation and configuration of client's Cash & Logistics software solutions.


• Mentors coworkers as needed may manage others at times.


• Works with customers and technical staff to resolve problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.


• Participates in creation of content of customer facing technical documentation.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Exp supporting ASP/SaaS infrastructure.


• Web application deployment and general O/S experience.


• Experience deploying Java applications in n-tier web environments.


• Application server knowledge/experience with one or more of Jboss, Websphere, WebLogic.


• Database systems exp SQL 2005/2008 and Oracle 11g.


• Web server deployment and support using one or more of: IIS, Apache, Sun One.


• Exp with both Windows and UNIX operating systems.


• Strong communication and client facing skills.


• Strong, logical problem solving skills.


• Able to work under pressure & meet deadlines.


• Able to effectively manage clients and their expectations.


• Good influencing skills together with a high degree of self-confidence & self-motivation.


• Flexible & responsive to rapid change when needed.


• Willing to travel and able to meet the demands of an international client base (travel up to 20%).

Performance tuning:

• Experience using performance analysis/monitoring tools such as Wiley Intrascope, Loadrunner, and Appsite.

Education/Other skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree.


• Multilingual, Spanish, Portuguese (nice to have).
