SharePoint Architect / Developer

As the SharePoint Architect, you will demonstrate the SharePoint technical leadership and expertise our customers rely on Glenture to provide.

Your strong analysis, solution design and development, integration, and implementation skills using SharePoint 2010, MOSS 2007, and WSS will be used as you lead envisioning, architecture, and design session You will be part of the SharePoint Services Practice, and we’ll look to you to contribute to the development of strategies, policies, and best practices to continue building the premier SharePoint practice in the Midwest.

As part of your project delivery responsibilities you will participate as a technical expert in pre-sales qualification, design, develop, and articulate solutions based on a customer's strategic business or technical requirements, and lead the implementation with responsibility for the delivery of the technical architecture designs, strategies, and quality assurance plans that will be delivered.

You will work closely with Project Managers and Program Managers in the design, development, and implementation of the technical content defined in the Statement of Work. You’ll create project status reports and accurately track/manage project issues and risks.

Additionally, you will be required to actively participate in the deployment, integration, and customization efforts as necessitated by our clients' requirements. Your consulting and technical skills will be constantly tested and ongoing learning of new skills is a requirement for this role.

• 6-10+ years experience in the analysis, design, implementation, and support of enterprise Microsoft solutions.
• Focused experience in SharePoint solutions, deployments, and platform management
• Hand on experience in design and setting up large SharePoint farms and knowledge of best practices for farm setup and migration from one SP platform to another. Skills on SharePoint administration is a must.
• Helps others to resolve design problems, reviewing and approving recommended solutions and has extensive hands on experience in SharePoint Error Tracing, Debugging Web Parts, Debugging Event Handlers, and Debugging Site Definitions.
• Leads planning and implementation of all actions required to deploy the application both technically and functionally for the SharePoint engagements
• Deep understanding of various deployment options and must be able to choose various solutions depending on the scenario of the SharePoint engagement
• Plan and deliver HLD, LLD, test, implementation strategies and present it to the customers for approval.
• Strong working knowledge of PowerShell, InfoPath, and how SharePoint integrates with the Microsoft technology stack (IIS, SQL, AD, and Office)
• Working knowledge of technologies such as PowerShell, XML/XSLT, .NET Framework, web services, and InfoPath
• Strong organization, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Strong documentation skills including experience writing proposals and statements of work
• Excellent client facing and presentation skills

• Prior consulting experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with ECM technologies such as Documentum, FileNet, or LiveLink
• Experience with PerformancePoint or other BI platforms
• Advanced Microsoft certification such as MCSD, MCSE, MCITP
• AD experience
• Passion for architecting and constructing MSFT business driven technology solutions
