Leading advertising company in business for more than twenty years is looking for a seasoned SQL DBA. They have engineered an ad optimization platform that allows publishers and advertisers to link up and achieve the best ROI.

In the SQL DBA role, you will take part in developing databases to support web based, high volume transaction financial applications. Additionally, you will build and maintain stored procedures in collaboration with .NET programmers; develop data extracts from existing SQL databases; perform backup and recovery of database sites and utilize IIS, Windows and .NET programming techniques. This role will also involve administering Windows 2008 and SQL Server 2005/2008 platforms, monitoring and fine tuning performance database environments. This position requires a motivated individual with the ability to organize, analyze, and document complex systems.

Skills:

-4 or more years paid working experience with SQL Server

-Strong experience with database development: T-SQL, complex queries, stored procedures etc.

-Knowledge of performance tuning, optimization, backup and recovery standards and procedures

-Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment

-Experience with SSIS and SSRS is preferred

Compensation ranges from 95-115k, depending upon experience.
