.NET/MVC Senior Software Engineer

Position Overview:

Engineer must be capable of executing on full stack development from the UI down through the database tier. Expertise should exist on the UI/MVC 3 layers with some hands-on experience in the middle tiers (C#) and database (SQL Server) layers. As the organization and associated user base/data stores continue to grow, there will be many opportunities to be a key player in the expansion and improvement of the existing architecture into a flexible and scalable platform. Engineer will also be a driver of test driven methodologies and a point person for the proper deployment between environments. 

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years in a web software development environment
• C# (5-7 years)
• ASP.NET MVC 3 (1-3 years)
• Solid object-oriented design and development experience
• SQL Server 2008 (2-5 years)
• Third party API integration experience (I.e. Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Shopify APIs, etc.)
• AJAX
• JavaScript
• WCF Web Services
• Experience in an Agile environment (Any flavor)
• Test driven development

Optional Skills/Eager to Learn:

• Deployment and version control technologies such as Team City, GIT and Cruise Control.
• Some experience developing UIs/apps for mobile devices (iPhone, Android, tablets, etc.)
