Responsibilities:

• Creation of  test plans, cases, and conditions for testing of the application from specification, defect, or feature descriptions
• Creation of test cases that address software scenarios, system testing, regression testing, negative testing, error or defect retest, performance monitoring and usability
• Working with testers, operations, and developers to help solve performance issues in the application, network, and environment
• Lead release readiness meetings and responsible for release of the software
• Conducting test cases on: large hardware tools and simulation of hardware tools
• Hands-on lead of  an automated functional/regression test architecture
• Daily updates of  test results report and defect tracking tool
• Responsible for automatic installers to release the software
• Scripting and executing load tests and analyzing results
• Verify release notes with applicable test cases
• Ability to reproduce field issues
• Install and configure re-creations of the software production environments
• Review software documentation to assure accuracy

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of SQA and/or software test experience in industrial environment preferably using capital equipment
• Testing experience using target hardware with an understanding of Best Practices and principals of testing
• Experience with target system set up on WIN 7 and XP
• Experience testing using Defect Tracking, Source Control, Build, Static Code Analyzer, Code Coverage, System Profiler, Network Profiler and Installer Tools
• Experience with automated testing tools with preference given to candidates with QTP experience
• Understanding of  network architectures
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and Visio products
• Degree in Computer Science required (MS desired)
• SEMI Standards experience desired
• Basic SQL query skills and understanding of database schemas desired
• Agile/SCRUM methodology desired
