Job Title : LEAD QA TESTER

LOCATION – TAMPA, FLORIDA

Duration : 6-12 MONTHS

Job / Role Description:

Client is looking for someone with strong testing experience, strong QA methodology, mainframe knowledge, insurance or healthcare knowledge a nice to have.

Past lead experience or has worked in QA for more than 10 years but has lead aspirations and skills to be a lead.

Lead a team of five QA testers or more

Must have Management and client interaction experience

Experience with working with “outside” clients, not just internal business units

Gathered and submitted QA team status

Collected data for team metrics, has built project plans, knows how to read complex plans.

Project Description: (e.g. team structure, stage of SDLC, what kind of business application will this resource be working on)

Lead QA Team to project deliverables

Ensure team members are completing their tasks successfully and on time along with completing their own test.

Strong SDLC and QA Methodology Experience.

Candidate will be building test scripts, running test scripts looking for both positive and negative results. Candidate will be responsible generating their own test data, analyzing the results of their test, working with Mainframe developers to determine any negative results.

Candidate will be working in a team environment, providing daily and weekly status of work performed.

Candidate will be testing Client Applications such as:

Billing Systems

Insurance Rating Applications

Commissions Applications

Financial Systems

Document Fulfillment Systems

And Web Interfaces

Mandatory / Required Skills (prioritized):

Minimal of 8 years of Mainframe Testing Experience

10 years of QA Experience

Minimal of 4 years successful lead experience or over 8 years of QA experience at a Lead level, looking to become a lead!

Excellent Communication Skills
